A4 Week 11 Session 1

In class, we focused around developing wireframes. We explored various different websites, and started to break them down into their basic shape language, a tool that I have found invaluable in exploring my own websites direction. In thinking about the website formatting, I drew inspiration from the wireframe of GMAIL and KFC. Thinking about how their user experience is both intuitive, and clear to view for the audience has helped given me a clearer idea on how to ideate across some of the basic layout and experience for the user in my own website. Where some of the key icons are located to return to home, and how on a smaller screen experience, the layout changes from a 3×3, to a single icon as you scroll down was something I wanted to try and replicate in my own website. Especially the side-navigation utilised in the GMAIL experience that allows a user to jump to exactly where they want to go.
